I'm flying out to Pennsylvania tomorrow morning at 4am.
Or well at least thats the plan 17 Why does the weather have to act up right after I buy the plane tickets?
I love the snow, really I do, but if my plane flight is canceled and I'm forced to sleep overnight in the airport, how will I ENJOY the snow!? 2

The main plan is to go to Pennsylvania to visit my dear Auntie, and then spend a few days in NY (of which I've never visited) enjoy myself, and come back after break and start school again. So for now ciao eh

I just want to sleep in 8 ! Every time I wake up in the morning I try to convince myself to get up before 9am, but then my warm puppy is sleeping on my feet, and my eyes itch for more sleep, and my pillow seems just so comfy 12 It's so especially hard to get up when the sun isnt even out. If the sun can sleep in, why cant I 2 ?! Its going to be so hard to wake up at 6am for school, I will definitely cry and fake being sick for the whole year.

It rained today for the first time in 27 days. When it rains the sky turns gray, a musky gray from the heat, and I just want to sit inside the house and curl up next to a cup of strawberry milk (?) wow that stuff is good. 18

Jack likes watching the rain until he falls asleep.

UGH. I WANNA BE NATURALLY GOOD A BOWLING. And of course naturally good looking, naturally smart, naturally charming, and not artificially funny? If that makes sense...

Tomorrow is a special day, tomorrow is the day I become a year older. My only birthday wish is for me to become the best person I can be.

Simple right... 4

My Auntie is the greatest, she bought me caviar as a gift ^.^// (because she loves the obsessive fish eater I am) & my parents were gracious enough to look past my horrid flaws and buy me a 17in screen limegreen inspiron laptop 20 So happy.

I have to get up really early tomorrow, we're going to go hiking at Mt. Rainer. Its not good for my face when I'm up before anything past 8am 11 . It should be a good day on the mountain, full of nature and acorns.

A few weeks ago I went to the Columbia River that fans around the state of Washington. Its a ginormous river that is very cold. I like going there, because after suffering through three hours in the car, 3 , the surrounding is so unbelievably different. The annoying green wet trees I live in (yes in because they are everywhere) are replaced by desert sand and canyons. Some pictures for your eyes.

Ack its already too late, I'll look dead tomorrow.
Oh and I've been cured thanks to horrid jello. Thanks for your well wished :D !!!

Yesterday I woke up sick, I got really dehydrated and had to be taken to the emergency room :(( They fixed me up but I feel as weak as a stick. I can only eat things like jello and bread . My puppy keeps following me around and hasn't left my bedside, he looks at me and says whats wrong mommy? Animals are really sensitive like that. My sister's cat is just the same with her, he lays on her feet whenever she has a fever.

On to a lighter subject summer has begun and I want to make the most of it. I have a list of things I want to do and accomplish but I really need to find my motivation. I'm the type of person who gets really pumped up about something and then forgets about it the next day...

I made a new layout, its weird. The bluething in the header is a whale :P

I like these days best. :D Sleeping is perfect during this time of the year.

Me? I'm slowly getting by until school ends. Putting up with all its horror and misery. 17
Oh and eating these beautiful apricot pastries is helping me ALOT. But lately the dentist has been showing up in my dreams... 11
You guys are very kind for putting up with my nothingness. Reading manga and pretending to garden are my accomplishments. I need to move around. Meh but then its so nice... I think I'll go take a nap right now..

Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talentby dwarthy
Shes hit me so hard with a wave of inspiration and awe that I'm teetering.

Watch this video. This lady has "never had a boyfriend" and she has "never been kissed before". She went out on the audition stage with everyone laughing and sneering. She walked out with everyone clapping with tears on their faces. Her video has had eight million views in less than five days and already record companies are pestering her to sign with them.

15 Its amazing how everyone in the room reacted to her, they were all standing by the time she sang the second line of her song. Here is another powerful performance, sung by Utada Hikaru.

Wow its been really hot these past few days. Knowing that rain clouds are on their way make these days even more important. I've been living outside like a lunatic, barefoot and everything, even went to the top of the Space Needle (The elevator way up was horrifying for someone like me who is afraid of high places)

Anyway I'm going to go frolic in a field of daises, or at least walk the dog. I really need to apply to go to college in Arizona. Then I could have this unbearable heat everyday! Being sweaty is a low price to pay for daily meetings with the sun.

Sometimes the inbox needs a little pizzaz. If you want to receive random weekly emails from Nanako then please email her with the word: Cherry.

Hmm.. useful site

Spring is finally here April showers bring May flower, but April snow storms kill them :( WAH stop snowing already.

Quick Weekend Summary: Wrote my research paper, met an uncle that I haven't seen since I was a three month old baby, came down with something horrible and nauseating 3 , went to a japanese festival, watched The Aristocrats.

I really love The Aristocrats, the movie makes me smile every time I watch it because the kitties are just so likeable and so unlike my stupid lazy cat. He can't even eat in the dark 11

I took some screen caps, please feel free to take 22

I think this guy is my favorite. Hes giving the piano the stare down.

Mom cat is on a date?

I want his glasses.

exchange students are so interesting and cute. I met this one named Tahashi whose hobbies were sleeping, reading, and playing video games.
I said "watashi mo!" to the sleeping, but his foreign friend keep saying "Geek geek!" 17

I can't even imagine what it would be like to wake up in that house, open my window, and get a view like that every morning. Its a really pretty home (thats actually an understatement) it makes me want to write a book that takes place just in that garden.

I want to make it my life goal to end up in a place like this (the yellow walls are a plus). Its so beautiful. romantic, and it hints about ancient beauty.

Wahh looking at all these places makes me want to travel more than ever!

I can’t even imagine what it would be like to wake up in that house, open my window, and get a view like that every morning. Its a really pretty home (thats actually an understatement) it makes me want to write a book that takes place just in that garden.

I want to make it my life goal to end up in a place like this (the yellow walls are a plus). Its so beautiful. romantic, and it hints about ancient beauty.

They're cute ne? 9 I know I'm childish but they were flying off the shelves at Safeway for Easter I suppose, so I gave in and bought them 24 I dubbed the one in red Chi, and the one in yellow Cabbage Chi 6

They're called (Monchhichi), but actually since mine are babies they're called Bebichhichi. They're Japanese monkeys (but I like to think of them as porcupines)... They're hard to get over here which is why I'm surprised that a wide spread store like Safeway is selling them 28

I looked at some Monchhichi catalogs and I realize they have the cutest clothes. Alot of their products seem retro because the company is so old, but that just makes me like them more 16 I think it would be really fun to collect these little animals haha Maybe when I have more money to waste on foreign shipping 24 24

Anyway I decided to post a photo of my Monchhichi doing something weird/new every week. I'll post the link later so make sure you check the site every now and then

My family and I've lived in the house for as long as I can remember, for more than twelve years at least.

I just found out that the neighbors across from us are moving. Its a small little house with two dragon statues on the front lawn, occupied by a quiet Chinese family. I feel so sad that they're moving because I've grown up watching them grow up. Every weekend the Grandpa washes, vacuums, and waxes his car. Their son grew up and had a wedding ( I watched it out my window) 15 and now he has two insanely adorable daughters. They run around the lawn and ride little pink bikes. Often they wave at us. 16

I don't know why I care, or even more why I don't want them to leave. I guess I just don't want to look out my window tomorrow and not see the two dragon statues on their lawn anymore. 3

I was looking at my old journals the other day and my thirteen year old self wrote this:
I hear the sound of a leaf blower. The old man across the street is blowing away at nothing on the sidewalk. Somtimes I wonder what hes thinking, what his thoughts about life are. I wonder what drives him to work on his strange hobbies (ie clean car obsession) I'm sure hes had time to reflect.. his calm faces says so. His calm life says so.( I guess I was very philosphican when I was young 12 )

Anyone else miss their neighbors too? 21

First of all, why is it snowing in March?! I think the last time it snowed here in March was like 80 years ago. 8 I couldn't believe my eyes, it looked as if somebody had just dumped a bag full of snow over my house. 23

So over the weekend I helped through a surprise party for my dad. I never knew planning a surprise party could be so STRESSFUL!! 2 Even though my dad is the most oblivious person ever, he still caught on after we started sneakily hanging up the decorations 6 Over 40 people came to celebrate the event of him turning 40. It was fun, and I saw alot of relatives I've never been in the same room with 9 Its funny because my father kept saying he didn't want a party. He even said he was going to leave the house if he found out we were planning something. 21

But in the end he loved it. He loved seeing his siblings, and all the attention and support they gave him. He even admitted that having the party was a great idea 14 . (We cooked a rice dish outside called Plouf outside over a burning fire, and we played games like "Now that you're forty you can't....")

Oh and if you haven't noticed I made a Flickr Flickr Flickr just to waste space on the internet 18

It seems like I've been gone for three weeks (bleh) (but whos counting right?) Has anyone been worried? Happy maybe? (confused) Most would assume that I've accomplished something in the time that I've been gone. Well no. I've been napping in my spare time, stretching in the sunlight, and watching February snowflakes fall outside my window.

But, what is this? A new layout. I keep whipping out a new one every month. I shouldn't, because I have NO TIME in the day... (mad)(mad)

Nanako really appreciates everyone who comments on her blog. She LOVES reading comments and keeps them dear to her heart. That and her favorite flavor of marmalade candy. (love) (More of a post on Sunday)

-Over the weekend I started a detective story revolving around a stupid town. Does it sound interesting? (confused) Would anyone read it?? (bleh)

This is a rough draft scenecoming from the detectives point of view:

"Sticking out right beneath my bed (minding their own business I suppose) were two feet. Now that, aroused my suspicion. What were these particular feet doing in my room at the Inn? But more importantly what were they doing under MY BED? I stepped forward (pressing lightly on my toes) when suddenly a certain itch bit me right in the back. The annoying tingle kicked into full gear. The problem was, my short arms couldn't reach so far back. Both of my arms grabbed at my back, while my spine danced from back and forth from the itch. After much struggle I finally subdued the blasted spot. When I looked down again (assuming the feet were still there) my surprised eyes found not two feet but a crumpled note. I began to question the exact reliability of my eyes and imagination but soon realized the note was not my own. I picked it up and it read:

Buy pickled vegetables
Do laundry
Catch train 01-72W

With dismay I reread the organized note. It was most likely a trap, but it was the biggest lead because whoever left it in my room was undoubtedly the suspect. "

And on it goes.... The detective is a bit ditsy
